Manchester United fans have taken to Twitter to react to the news that summer signing Diogo Dalot will make his Premier League debut this weekend away at Southampton.
Speaking ahead of the Red Devils’ trip to St Mary’s, boss Jose Mourinho confirmed that his fellow countryman would be making his bow in England’s top-flight this weekend.
The Portuguese full-back is yet to make a league appearance since arriving at Old Trafford from Porto in a £19m deal in the summer, making just two starts in both the Champions League and the Carabao Cup.
That is mainly down to the 19-year-old’s struggles with injury, but now he has fully recovered, he looks set to take on the Saints.
Naturally, Man United fans have been waiting patiently to see their new signing make his Premier League debut, and as a result, have reacted excitedly to the news.
